As an athlete, it is important to get the proper nutrition in order to perform at your best. Olympian and Wworld Cchampion, Coach James makes sure to fuel before and after exercising in order to get the most out of every workout. Here is a smoothie that he makes frequently. 

Coach James’ Smoothie Recipe (nutritional value of each ingredient is indicated):

1/2 cup blueberries (antioxidants)

1/2 cup mango (quick carbs and flavor) 

1/8 cup ginseng extract (powerful adaptogen) 

1 tTsp ginger (anti-inflammation) 

1/4 cup coconut milk (healthy fats) 

2 cups coconut water (hydration) 

1/4 cup unflavored cow foot bone broth (collagen/protein)

James spent time in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda. During that time he was the Strength and Conditioning Coach for Team Nigeria’s basketball team. He made them this drink to help them with attitude induced fatigue. Below are the ingredients:
